Synopsis: The Adventures of Rodney Evanson (Cont.)
I stuck it in Young Adult and Youth, but it's really more of an 'all ages, fantasy/action/adventure'. *shrugs* We all have those, right?
This is a continuation of the series I started last Nano, about a boy (Rodney) who lives in a world where fantasy creature (trolls, ogres, centaurs, elves, unicorns etc.) are 'real people, too'. His best friend is a centaur, his little brother likes to pick fights with ogre cubs, and Rodney has a huge crush on an elf in his sixth grade class.
But some creatures (griffins, fauns, and such) are mythical. Thought to be extremely absurd fairy tales.
But Rodney keeps finding them -or, more correctly, THEY keep finding HIM.
So Rodney and co. are on a mission to find out where the creatures came from, dodging school bullies and government agents along the way. The only clues come from ten-year-old letters from Rodney's great-grandmother -a famous archeologist- and the rantings of a crazy old troll proclaiming 'gloom and doom'.
