Synopsis: The Musical Sea
Owen and William are back! And the whole Hurricanes Eye Crew, along with some new friends, as they try to return Olivia, a retired Brittish Naval captain's daughter, to her family.
The young woman, Olivia, has put the secret of the pirate island at risk and has been condemned to either go home and forget everything about the pirates, or to become a pirate herself to protect their last ports of refuge.
Excerpt: The Musical Sea
And then, like an angel, through the pulsing, fighting crowd, stepped the man. He was tall and thin and had his dusty brown hair pulled back into a tidy ponytail. His eyes danced with the hidden beat of the fight and he approached her slowly, surely. And he was weaponless.
His eyes were the color of the ocean on a sunny day, a clear teal and they swept over her as if he could see into her very soul.
“This is no place for a lady,” his voice was musical and she swayed to his music. Everything about him was music, the slow steady notes of his walk, the staccato notes of his rippling muscles, and the dancing melody of his liquid eyes.
He scooped her effortlessly into his arms and slid fluidly through the mass of bodies, his footsteps adding to the dancing musical notes swimming lethargically in her fogged mind.
