About luci_you_know

Location: Charleston, WV

Age:18

Website: http://fictionpress.com/~lucichanslunchboxofdoom/

Favorite novels: "Sleepers" by Lorenzo Carcaterra, "One Child" and "Ghost Girl" by Torey Hayden, "The Cole Turns to Ash" by Naked Penguin Fetus for Pope (fictionpress.com), and a few others I can't remember at the moment.

Favorite writers: I'll give anyone a chance, but my favourites of the moment are mostly on http://fictionpress.com/ and you should check them out from my account's favourites list.

Favorite music: Anything I happen to be into at the moment. I include the song I'm listening to at the beginning of each chapter. The repeat button is my friend. I can't stand music changes halfway through a chappy.

Non-noveling interests: School Newpaper (Editor), Her Majesty's Players (Renaissance Faire Club), photography, technology, meeting new (an hopefully interesting) people, hanging out with friends... Pretty typical stuff. I do enjoy a bit too much of the drink.

Synopsis:

Nothing extremely hardcore. But enough so. Hannah is all alone in a new city, and she's not exactly thrilled about it. But at least she has her best friend and fellow classmate from high school as her roommate. But when said roommate moves out in favour of the dorm life, Hannah can no longer afford the apartment on her own. Enter the incredibly handsome Kevin, her fellow host at TGI Fridays. Lust, altercations, and hilarity ensue. But can anything more develop? [random ramblings from my perverted mind, based on things that could happen if Kevin were to move in with me... he must never know about this...]

Excerpt:

WalMart towels are tiny. It's a fact of life. Back home, we had these big, fluffy towels that all five-foot-ten, one hundred and seventy-five pounds of me could have comfortably worn as a toga.

But that is not so in the life of a poor Friday's hostess.

I didn't think much when I came into the apartment and heard the shower.

But my mind went into overdrive when the water went off and he stepped out a moment later, covered only by that tiny WalMart towel.
