Hamilton, Ann Radcilffe, Oscar Wilde, Robert Louis Stevenson...and a shite load of others. ^_^ Favorite music: I lately I stick to a mix of Epica, Cirque du Solei soundtracks, Celtic Women soundtracks, Nightwish, Sonata Arctica, a bunch of soprano opera artists because of Lexie, Intense, Rammstein, Evanescence, Kerli and more than a few others. I blame my da for giving me 20+ Gigs of music, with more daily. ^_^ Non-noveling interests: Art, school (yes, I heart school, toss the nerd label at me and run like you stole something, um...writing fanfics and poetry and...well, non-novel written stuff, sculputing, sketching, making masks, reading, IMing, collecting old books, books in general, making jewelery, baking, blogging when I have the time, organizing my online my study groups, sewing, crocheting, going to coffee shops even though I don't like coffee, eating tiramisu, photography, and being random and weird. |

So, I started over from the beginning; because this idea took me. I'll post an excerpt a.s.a.p. The boiled down summary is this:
Morgiana Kattin has an insane life that she survives with the philosophy of 'stack the deck'. Vampires, alcohol and life oh my!
Excerpt: Stack the Deck
“Over the years I have learned to adopt a certain way of dealing with the world, honey. My basic philosophy is that you can’t wait for Fate to step in and save the day. Fuck Fate, I stack the deck to my own benefit and load the dice; I’ll still loose but at least my confusion will be well placed.”
So proclaiming I lifted my glass in brief toast to the bartender, slamming the shot back and smiling through the trail of liquid fire that burned down my throat to my stomach.
