Excerpt: What to do when your knees stick to Newspaper / Dreams of the Sky

From: "What to do when your Knees Stick to Newspaper"

Sorry, I’m interrupting again, but I just HAVE to tell you about Keith. And well that rather unusual game of life that you just witnessed. Right so, Keith first, because he is just that hot. Keith is the coolest guy at school, and so very hot… I think I said that already, but whatever. He’s got gorgeous black hair, that kind of falls in front of his face, and you know, is just that hot. There is hardly a better word for it, though he does have fantastic green eyes. There’s another word I use too much, but anyway, he is ultimately cool, has kind of that bad boy look to him, and I could fantasize about him all day long. Only if he did the same about me, I’m not even sure if he realises that I exist sometimes, but there are those moments, those awesome moments when he looks at me with those green eyes and says it.
‘Hi’
Ooohohh, makes me all warm and fuzzy inside just thinking about it.
Perhaps though, before we get too far into me ranting about how great Keith is, I’ll tell you about that game of life. So, in case you didn’t get it, my family is strange, and my friends stranger, we do very bizarre things and change the rules, for come on, what fun would be a board game for three teenagers that you have to play by the normal rules? As I can tell, my father is all for this behaviour, I think he and Sarah laugh at us in secret, which is okay, cause we do the same thing. But for everyone out there who can’t remember what it is like to be teenager, and well for those who relish the memory, this is what we do, and we love it.
