Imagine that you're seventeen.

Now, imagine that you've been adopted by a pair of vampires as part of their cover because they're hiding from their own kind, living in a trailer park on the outskirts of town, perpetually broke.

The worst part is, they won't make you a vampire. They're so uncool it isn't even funny. Everything you ever read about vampires says they should be rich or famous or powerful. Instead, it's like living in a bad sitcom about losers.
