By day, I'm a costume sewing theatre employee, but by night, I'm a crazy writing wildwoman!!

This is my first year participating in NaNoWriMo, and I'm totally excited! I'm not really a crazy writing wildwoman, because I don't write every day and I havn't written anything "serious" in just over a year, so I guess that makes me just a crazy woman? LoL! My imagination is my best friend, I'm always dreaming up new worlds and new possibilities and situations. My problem is that half the time I don't write them down >.< I have started carrying a notebook in my purse though.

I went to school for Technical Theatre (behind the scenes stuff) and majored in Wardrobe, Props, and Scenic Paint, so I've got a crazy bunch of random skills that don't do me much good outside of the theatre environment. But, my main passion is sewing. I can sew almost anything. (my downfall is sewing car seat covers for upholstering) But my favourite thing to sew, aside from costumes, are corsets. I find them very elegant, and there is so much potential in designing and creating them. It all depends on what purpose the corset if for. To answer the question that i'm sure you're wondering, is no, I don't wear corsets myself (at least very very very rarely) and I don't make my corsets for the purpose of Tight-Lacing, due to the controversal topic concerning the health hazards.

Other than that, I enjoy reading (I always have a novel on me) and I enjoy watching The X-Files and Bones (my 2 favourites) along with other stuff such as Andromeda, Buffy, Angel, Lois & Clark, Smallville, Scrubs and some CSI and Friends when I can catch them. Also, I enjoy going on hikes in the forest and hanging out at coffee shops. And thats pretty much it...oh! I also eat, sleep and be happy :P
