Synopsis: Eighth Street Bridge

When the alienated and depressed Sara decides that life has left her with nothing, she goes to end it on the Eighth Street Bridge. However, she doesn't expect the intervention of Elizabeth, a sassy but sweet owner of a local bookshop. Elizabeth offers to take Sara in, and she quickly becomes the best -- and first -- friend that Sara has ever had. However, when her feelings start to shift beyond simple friendship, Sara is faced with the question of what happiness really is.
