Brief Author Bio: My parents have never doubted that I would be a writer. That helps when I begin to doubt. I have a psychological block when it comes to finishing my stories. Hundreds of them have been written. I can think of three of them that have endings. I love quotes. I leave you with one: Creativity is an attitude, a way of being, in life. You begin by forgetting what you know. Leave behind the baggage of everything you've been taught about the way things are. Question everything. -Mari Messer "Pencil Dancing" |

Synopsis: Merry Things & Birthright
I am rewriting (rehauling actually, as I'm keeping the title and a few key points but trashing everything else) a story I started a couple of years ago for some co-workers during the holiday season. The bones of the story are good but the execution was horrible. I'd like to see what new things I can come up with after the past year's hiatus from the writing process. I'd like to also do 50k on a local fantasy idea that I've had for the last couple of months. It doesn't have a title yet... although "Thousand Days of Sorrow" keeps rattling around in my head... but it doesn't feel like that's the title for this story. Maybe another one... I came up with a title! It's called Birthright! Hooray for random thoughts!
