Brief Author Bio: This will be year No. 6 for me. After failing to complete the task in college, hopefully being out of school will help me now. I work for a newspaper as a reporter and write creatively in my free time. I graduated from Purdue with a degree in Creative Writing - though this in no way has made me a more confident writer, all it's done is make me realize how much better everything I write could be; it's a maddening sort of situation. The more you know about writing, the harder it is to please yourself. |

Synopsis: Twin Kingdoms (subject to change on a whim)
As summer turns to fall, the farmers turn to the harvest and the soldiers turn to their weapons. Before the long winter sets in, the Northmen come from their icy isles to raid and gather what they'll need to survive the cold, dark months. For survival and for glory do these fierce warriors sail to the prosperous shores of the Sisters to do battle with the Twin Kingdoms.
The Kingdoms of Bale and Gram share the land and the burden of defending against the northern raids. These Twin Kingdoms have lived in peace and friendship since the days of the Purge nearly more than 600 years ago.
And now it is the time for a young man, in the shadow of his most noble father, to take up the sword and defend their kingdoms. The honor and bravery of Turio Argent will be put to the test as the days grow shorter and turn to winter, when it may be more than just the Northmen at the edge of his sword and threatening his homeland.
