Brief Author Bio: I am the self proclaimed Empress of Vu! I'm a bipolar bisexual tomboy in some odd quest for finding true self identity (and possibly gender identity. I'm a feminist that identifies not entirely as a girl or boy, but that's besides the point and switches with my moods). I'm living on a college campus and a Japanese Major considering an English minor. I love to write and have since I was little, though I'm much more serious about it now (and better at it!). My goal for this year is double the word count, in other words 100k! |

Synopsis: Evantmore
“You promised together forever, you promised!”
Where is it?
“It’s called Evantmore’ Many twins have this problem, occasionally special others. We’ll treat them there.”
“Don’t go in there, it is in there. You’ll be killed.”
“I hear the voices. They’re calling to me.” No one else can hear them.
“We can.”
“You set a demon free!”
What happened to them!
‘Twins are a bad omen.’
You killed the oldest!
“The oldest always dies.”
Twins Kei and Itsuki make a vow to be “forever together.” Five years later they are separated by the divorce of their parents, meeting up still at the train station on the way to school. Until one day, several months later, Kei stops showing us. Itsuki, the elder, is left to face the world alone and overcome her own personal demons in order to find her sister, who’s discovered some shocking secrets.
Excerpt: Evantmore
In the kitchen she filled a pot with water and set it on the stove to boil. They’d have something simple tonight, some sort of noodles.
"It’s burning."
“Huh? Who’s there!?” Kei asked, whipping around to see who was behind her. No one.
“I’m burning! Make it stop! Make it stop!”
The voice was beside her now, pleading, screaming. She looked around, turning quickly back and forth, trying to spot the source.
“Please! No, no!”
Two burning hands grabbed onto her shoulders. Kei screamed, wriggled to get free of the iron hot hands. And then the heat was travelling on her shirt. She screamed more as flames shot up around her. She dove to the floor, trying to roll around, terrified and crying. Then everything was cold, icy cold. And wet too.
***
Then suddenly fire again, burning, searing pain over her shoulders. Screaming. Kei couldn’t hear anything but the screaming. It was her screaming, she realized, her pain that raced through her shoulders. Suddenly her mind and body were fully connected again, fully conscious and aware.
“Make it stop burning!” she screamed, doubling over in pain, emitting chocking sobs.
I’m sorry. Thank you.
Kei fell suddenly quiet as she heard the voice. It felt cool. She could hear a clatter. She turned her head. Beside her hand lay a metal, slightly rusted key. Cool fingers picked it up and pressed it into her hand, wrapping her own fingers around it.
You have to stop them.
