Brief Author Bio: Hey! I'm a female living in NJ and going to college. I'm planning on being a lawyer but I couldn't stop writing if both of my hands were chopped off. I have a pretty good family which is currently growing, so I'll must likely miss one day of NaNoWriMo - which is when my niece is going to be born. But that should be the first week and then it's all go from them on!! Good luck all and Happy Writing!! |

Synopsis: Scott's Summer
Calvin Scott never thought that he would see his ex-wife Melissa again. And he certainly didn't think that she would want to see the children after six years of not being anywhere near them. Walker, Orlando, and Mackenzie Scott do not want their mother in the picture. They imagine that they could live their whole lives and never have to need her once. And they may be right, but Mel's come back to say that she's only got a few months to live - so they might not have all their lives to reconsider.

My favorite part so far:
If there is no one to hear a tree fall down in a forest, who warns the skinny little tree friends on the trees side that might have gotten closer to aid the big old tree? The answer is, no one. Because as Lauren started to fall down, everyone was laughing and Gabby Lucian tried to step forward and they both fell down.
Even Mac could not help her laughter then.
Two teachers reached them first. One, Mac did not know, but she recognized him from the halls. He was a new third grade teacher and he was pretty young. He went over to Lauren, his eyes wide as he tried to pull Lauren to her feet and get Gabby out and into safety were she would be able to remember what breathing was like.
