Synopsis: An Artist's Intuition: A Murder Mystery Extraordinaire
Iowa City, Iowa, in the year of Our Lord 2008. Halloween has come and gone and the football season of the University of Iowa Hawkeyes is coming to a close. The 500 Year Flood has come and gone and peace and order is starting to take shape again...until Michelangelo stirs it up. Students are found murdered in grisly ways and displayed in an artistic way despite the violence of it. The police can't figure out the how or why the murders are taking place.
Enter Azriel Morgan and Jude Obscuro (Yes, Jude the Obscure, you heard me.) Together with the Catholic group Infinito they investigate the impossible and coexist with the supernatural underground of Iowa City. With the two priests Jonathan Masters and Mareike Stevens (who will be prosecuted one day for harassing the undead) and a ragtag group of vampires, witches, fae (not fairies) and zombies they will try to figure out the why and how of Michelangelo.
Art is a beautiful thing. But sometimes art looks like a real life Jackson Pollock painting. Just without the paint...
