Synopsis: The Last Ambassador

Knowing me, I will change my mind about a dozen times between now and the first with one last minute change the day of. Right now I'm thinking of writing a science fiction story about a time in the future when the Earth has become a "substandard" place to live due to pollution, violence, etc. A huge company, known as ESA, has presented itself as a savior with it's space station technology. In the short time that the space station has been operational, maybe a 100 years, the management council has become increasingly corrupt and controlling while life on the Earth's surface has become more and more violent and chaotic. The plot begins winding up when a mysterious visitor arrives as a captive on a gang's smuggling freighter. Although a captive, the visitor has a strange charisma and power over people and quickly finds her way to the Council's meeting room where she warns of a coming evil.
