Brief Author Bio: This is my first year doing NaNoWriMo, but in my defense, I just learned about it on Thursday, October 9, 2008. It's good thing I have a month to prepare then! ^__^ I am a very friendly person by nature, except if I don't like you, then I'm not so pleasant, but we don't need to worry about that right now. I am of British, Irish, Hungarian, and German descent and am LOVING it!! Lol. I speak with a British accent a lot of the time even though I've never been to England or anywhere else like that and have never met a British-accented person before. EVERYONE gets a kick out of my uncontrollable accent. I absolutely love Britian/England (What's the difference??) and Japan (China and Korea are pretty awesome too). I think that guys with accents (from other countries) are smokin'! Lol. XP Please ignore me, I'm kinda all weird right now. Anyways, I hope that you all like my book/novel (Again, what's the diff??) when I'm done--and have actually started it--lol. It would be AMAZINGLY SWEET if I could get a book published. It'd be even AWSOMER (Yes, I plan on being a Literature major yet still like to make up words and I KNOW that they are not real, so bite me) if I wrote a best-selling book that got made into a movie! EEE!!! I'm excited just thinking about it! Lol. P.S. I CAN'T WAIT FOR TWILIGHT TO COME OUT!! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! XD ~Oh, and I'd like to say that I hope to finish Yin in the required time frame and if I do, then you can most likely expect to see book 2 of the Hope Trilogy next November for NaNoWriMo 2009. That is, if I don't crave to write it before then! ^__^ |

Synopsis: Yin
Yin, a spirit that seems to reside in a mysterious pendant that was given to Hope Faith when she was a baby, has always been her best friend. The only thing is that she’s the only one who can hear him. Tragedy has always been present in Hope’s life, but all along the way Yin has been right there, comforting her, and all along the way, Yin has been the one behind most of the tragedy. Even though Hope knows that, she pretty much loves him, although she’s never seen his face. However, in the middle of Hope piecing her twisted life back together, Zane shows up, and her world seems to spiral out of control from there. Everything that Hope knew is about to change; and nothing is as it seems.

On the cover picture for the book Yin, the strange symbol of Yin/Yang was created by me (^__^) and it is the pendant that belongs to Hope, the one that she can never take off. I just wanted to give you all a visual of it, it took me about 3 hours. Trust me, this was not the first copy that I tried. However, it is the best so that's why it's up. As you can see, it is mostly dominated by Yin (darkness) with very little Yang (light).
