Excerpt: The Road to Canarsie

The Big Cat went on high alert, danger was in the air - she was a Mac. He knew her type. Unfinished novel, MacBook Pro and a half-caff soy latte. He thought he smelled vegan egg substitute on her breath and It turned his stomach. Big Cats ate meat. She was weak and therefore it was his prerogative to take as much as he could from her. She probably wanted a desk made from sustainable organic bamboo or some shit like that. He forced himself to smile and gestured towards the desk area of the display floor.
