Synopsis: Eclipse: Genesis Regiment

The city of Joliet. An architectural marvel, with powerful corporations building towers that rise above the clouds. But on the streets, crime runs essentially unchecked, with the sole exception of Alde Dioscuri, only member of the JPD. Along with his daily struggles to stop petty fights between lowlifes and street gangs, a group of vigilantes with strange powers begin to terrorize the city. Elsewhere in the city, the head of Tranceport Magical studies Kerin Silesian and her bodyguard Bryce finish a transfer of the magical crystals known as Argyll when they are attacked by these people and forced to flee. In order to deal with this new menace, Alde has to try to re-form the department if he's going to have any chance of protecting the city. But with a schizophrenic gambler, a seemingly invincible gothic girl, an insane man whose body is nothing but blades, a mechanical armed former marine, and a man with dragon wings, Alde will need to confront his past in order to find the people he needs to defeat them.

Excerpt: Eclipse: Genesis Regiment

Alde threw out his arm to push open the bar that should open the door. However, instead of doing that it just rammed his shoulder into a five inch thick piece of wood that refused to move. Geez, he thought, how did she see this coming? Or rather, how did he not. Ah well, time to worry about that later. Right now Alde knew he needed to escape. With Selve coming up the stairs behind him and the door to the next floor effectively locked, the only way off of the floor was at the end of the hall. Alde considered the very likely possibility of death that followed with this option, but few good decisions are made while panicking. With that in mind, Alde dove out the tenth story window.
