Brief Author Bio:

My first novel was a young adult romance, which I finished 3 years ago. Looking back at it now, it needs a lot of work. I have an idea to completely rewrite it, making it completely different form the original, keeping only the main characters. That will be my NaNo book for 2009, and I can't wait for Nov. 1 to begin working on it!

2008 was my first year participating in NaNoWriMo, and I completed an urban fantasy novel, Divided Heart, for which I am now querying agents. I am currently working on its sequel, Ravaged Heart.

When I'm not writing I enjoy spending time with my boyfriend and our furkids, 2 dogs and a cat, reading books of all genres but especially paranormal and fantasy, watching a little bit of TV (my guilty pleasure), and ghost hunting when we are able to get away to haunted locations.

Synopsis: The Future is Past

Adelaide has always been fascinated by the metaphysical world, especially past lives. In her first semester of college, she takes a class on the history of ancient Israel to complement her archaeology degree. She learns about, and becomes fascinated by, the ring of King Solomon. Her dreams lead her to wonder if there is more to the legend. When she tells her professor about her dreams of demons, she is dragged into a world where the legendary Ring of Solomon is real, and a mysterious organization is searching for its whereabouts to summon demons and destroy humanity. Adelaide may be humanity's only hope, as she has the knowlege of the ring, but must learn how to use it, and keep it away from Lucifer, who still seeks revenge on Yahweh over his jealousy of mankind's free will.
