Synopsis: Invisible Woman
A collection of journal entries starting in 1997 and continuing up through the years. The entries follow the life of one very typical (in her own eyes) 15 year old girl as she grows up from girl to woman. The book follows her trials and tribulations, heart ache, and all of those little quirks that make life what it is.
Excerpt: Invisible Woman
Two days later, I was brought back to social services by Becky's Mom and Patrick's. My counselor Bob, told me that my parents had signed for me to be put in a group home for three months. All I can remember thinking was that my parents were giving me away. My last night would be at Becky's. I then got my suitcase that my parents brought, although they were no where in sight. I remember saying to Becky's Mom and Patrick's that I never once thought I'd be bringing all my belongings with me in my boyfriend's Mom's car.
We got to Becky's, Jonathan was there. I cried to them that my parents were giving me away, that I'd be living in Brenton House in Halifax as of the next day. I was mortally depressed.
