Brief Author Bio: I love to write, want to be an author and maybe an English professor later on. I also wouldn't mind owning my own little bookstore/cafe. I love reading. I love meeting new people, and listening to music. Umm...yeah. Love plaid, polka dots, stripes, and rock music. Hah. Oh, and I'm in love with old movies. There's nothing like kicking back with some black java, the lights off, my comfy pjs on, and watching an old movie. |

Synopsis: Mon Couer Est En Vous
In the year 1348, the bubonic plague ripped through Europe, taking Asenath Barrett's lover victim. In order to save him, she sold her soul. Now, centuries later, she hunts rogue-demons that step out of line, sending them to the one place she fears to go. When a rogue comes to her town with a dozen demon kills under his belt, she's ordered to stop him. If she doesn't, it could mean her life.
Excerpt: Mon Couer Est En Vous
If someone were to come up and ask me for one piece of advice, I would have no problem figuring out what to say. Don’t sell yourself to demons and the fiery pit of Hell. Under no circumstance should you accept a demon’s deal, no matter how tempting it is. I know. I can speak from experience. After living for over five centuries, sometimes you just want to die like everyone around you does. However, what awaits demons after death is far worse than anything that could be seen while living.
A man. I sold myself for a man. Now, I’ve realized how stupid it was, especially as I try to wash the blood out of my clothes. Tracking and killing demons just isn’t as glamorous as it sounds.
