Synopsis: Blood and Honor
Gary Weavers and his commander, Bruce Walters, were cancerous and old. They had not been in the fight for the past six years. The organization had been pushed hard in the past but never to the point of desperation that they were in now. That was the only reason that this would possibly be attempted, and so it was to be on the two men that could possibly make a difference in the final battle.
Excerpt: Blood and Honor
Then the fun began. He sat there in silence for two seconds then his eyes widened as he felt what can only be described as his lungs tearing themselves out. The table then reversed itself so that he was looking straight at the floor. Then he vomited. It was mainly stomach bile, but he could also see black in there. It was a small amount but it was there. Then he saw other black drops falling into the bucket as well. He finally figured out that it was coming from his nose just in time for him to vomit again. He came close to the point of blacking out but for some reason he never did. He noticed that the lab assistant was gone as he continued what he was doing for two hours. Finally he stopped. He had closed his eyes half way through the process and he finally opened them again. The muscles on his entire body relaxed and the pain subsided. Then he took a deep breath, and smiled. He had taken his first real breath in four years.
