Synopsis: Bland Rainbow
A more teenage view of the old "Princess Locked Away In A Tower" kind of fairytale. With funny scenes, weird creatures, and a violent but misunderstood princess.
Involves violence, blood, gore, suicide/murder, some vulgar language, sexual themes, crude humor, criminal acts, drug abuse, alcohol abuse, violent behavior towards children, thought-bubble violence, dramatizations of psychiatric breakdowns, etc.
Though the list of BAD notions of this novel may go on and on, the overall story shouldn't prove to be pure horror. There are still many hints of comedy and romance; however, the author wishes that only older teens to adults read her work on this novel.
Oh! And did I mention--EVERYTHING RHYMES?!?!?!
Excerpt: Bland Rainbow
She stood up in rage, saying that she could not stand it any longer. Princess Airikae paid no attention, for she was overcome by pure hunger. But the queen got her attention quite soon enough; just as soon as the queen yelled out with a huff,
"This is why I didn't want you! This is why you couldn't stay! You're nothing like my dear Emily with how you act this way! I put you in that tower, and I kept you alive! I protected you, I fed you, and I gave you lots of clothes--and how do you repay me? You destroy ALL of those! You killed my best friend, and you came back to my kingdom! You WILL be arrested, too, because I'm tired of the nonsense of them! I want you GONE and I want you DEAD!"
The princess gulped, and her mind filled with dread. She thought these guys were nice, but they really wanted her dead? All she did was free herself and rip those clothes to shreds! Was it so wrong to want to be free?
Not really, if you ask me.
