Synopsis: The Blackwood Tales

When the end of the world began, humanity was united by a singular goal: survival. But as the remnants of the world successful in that task settled in for the long haul and began the process of rebuilding society, it became quite clear that there was only one way to maintain that unity. They must find a new enemy for the masses.

Decades later, the status quo has long since been established. Ever the minority, the supernatural community has become the scapegoat for an Armageddon that their very planet would not have survived without them. Mandatory blood testing rounds them up. Those who resist are hunted down. Their humanity is revoked, their names are struck from public record and they are exiled, sent into the dead lands, ground zero, the World Within the Wall.

But after so many years, the hatred of the supernatural has become so ingrained in the outside world that they are no longer the common enemy that they once were. Many have simply become jaded. Others have begun to doubt. And the powers that be must find a way to destroy the evidence before their authority is called into question.

Unfortunately for them, the exiles have no intention of simply lying down to die.
