Synopsis: Coastal Eddies
When Abby Merrick's husband suddenly divorces her after tricking her into signing a waiver of their pre-nup, she finds herself having to start all over again, only this time it's worse: she's broke, she's angry, and she's falling for a charming ne'er-do-well even as her ex- wiggles the planchette with his new spiritual advisor.
Excerpt: Coastal Eddies
Abby wanted to scream. Everyone knew about the other woman, everyone except her. Even her mother suspected, but no, not Abby Sullivan, who somehow managed summa cum laude but who didn’t see what a snake her husband was. That’s how men are. They look like humans, but they’re snakes. Abby was willing to bet that the snake in the Garden of Eden was really just Adam playing a game to trick Eve out of her inheritance.
“Men,” Abby said.
“Some men,” Sam semi-agreed.
Abby shook her head. “Men.” Sooner or later, they all left scales in your bed.
