Synopsis: Welcome to the Centre
I can't remember the exact quote but someone once said " In every man's first novel, he writes himself, the hero, as either Christ or Faust"
Despite by best efforts I feel i am falling into this trap.
the story is a young women needs a loan to escape her hellish family and makes a deal with a man she believes to be the devil.
Excerpt: Welcome to the Centre
He was a slim man, but quite tall, and his faced didn’t have any weakness around the jaw which thin men sometimes posses. He had soft peach coloured skin, which contrasted with the hard lines of his mouth, nose and forehead. The thing that stood out to me though was how he moved with such assurance, across the room and pulling the chair behind the desk out to sit on it. Nothing could touch this man, not when he moved like living gold.
