Synopsis: Dessication
Ten years ago the township of Tapingul banded together to fight to keep their local primary school open. However as drought and climate change take their toll of the farming families of Tapingul the school that drew everyone together may tear them apart.
Christina is visiting from Melbourne does not think the school should have been given the sustainability grant she is working on and questions why anyone stays in a town that is clearly dying.
What makes a community? How do landscapes shape identities and communities? Why do communities fall apart?
