Brief Author Bio: I currently work as a computer specialist at the University of Utah, where I also go to school. I love reading and writing, as well as most sports. I would not call myself a "gamer" but I do love playing all of the Halo games on the XBOX. |

Synopsis: Core of the Nations
Things on Earth are not boding well. Nuclear war is brooding and there is no chance that Earth will ever be the same. But as the world as we know it sees its last moments, hope remains deep in a vast mountain.
Excerpt: Core of the Nations
The tunnel they were in was remarkable. It was of circular form and had been reinforced by what looked like polished marble. A project of this magnitude would have taken a very long time, not to mention a lot of money to create. The walls were as pure white as can be described.
“Beautiful!” exclaimed Allya. “I’ve never seen anything so beautiful!” Will was speechless.
“Such things take time,” Sam said with a smile, “but this beautiful world has a lot to offer over time.”
The car continued to move ever so slowly, passing under a very large and extravagant sign that had ‘Welcome to the Core of the Nations’ written elegantly in green.
“Here comes the entrance,” said Reuel. “Just around this next bend.”
Sure enough, as the car turned the final corner, two large white marble doors more than thirty feet high and twenty feet wide appeared in front of them.
As they inched forward, the doors began to open, like loving arms preparing for an embrace.
