Brief Author Bio: I am a struggling student attempting to major in computer science, but have noticed that I'm having way more fun with my Literature classes than I ever have with computer programming or math. I've always been able to fake my way through an essay for those classes that only require that you know how to write a certain way, and I've never been able to be very creative at all. At least once, I'd like to write something for myself, and not because my class requires a persuasive paper that's due in 6 hours and I have not even started yet, but I will probably still get an 'A.' ...I also like attempting to cook. |

Synopsis: Shadow Tempest
Alex works for a fleet of salvage ships that scavenge the wrecks of ships that get caught in Maelstrom, a perpetual storm that is beneath the floating landmasses that make up the world. He finds a strange box while working on a wreckage unlike any other he's seen before. Suddenly, him and his friends are pursued by a mysterious group trying to recover the box, which will allow them to start a war between a mighty kingdom and a powerful merchant empire. Everything seems to revolve around the box and its connection to Maelstrom, the Shadow Tempest.
