Synopsis: The Knot Garden

When Tommy proposes to Hannah she suggests that they undo the emotional knots they've accumulated through their lives. The process takes them on a journey to places and people from their pasts. When Tommy writes about their adventures on his blog, it prompts a growing number of others to join in and unravel their own knots. With forays into medieval herbalism, etymology, the lives of the plant collectors, and garden design the novel is fundamentally an exploration of human relationships.
