Synopsis: Attic
They Kept them in the Attic...A group of 9 are stuck in a brightly lit attic, for reasons unknown to them. An elderly old man, a rich girl from the upper east side, two twins from georgia, one 20 year old drunk, a middle class mom, an angry middle aged man, a nomral 15 year old from the suburbs and one girl who has gone through kidnapping before.
But this Attic, and the people who brought them there are far from ordinary.
Excerpt: Attic
The woman smiled, I never had learned her name. She took the knife away from my neck for just a moment, swinging it loosely in the air. “God no Carlos,” the knife swinging back and forth, “This is the fun of the game for me, watching you get so far, overcoming so much, then coming here.” She bent down, so we were eye to eye, “And when you make it here all your struggles were really for nothing, and your life is over.”
