The only exception outside of Carl was his boss. Bill was pretty cool. He understood his clientele but he wasn’t a ball breaker expecting perfection at all times. That and he played a mean game of beer pong to boot.
“Hey Bill” Carl said as he went into Bill’s office. “I broke a couple toes and I won’t be able to work the next couple days.”
“How’d you do that?” he asked
“My roommate’s a moron. I stepped on a rat trap.”
“Ouch, stay off it and we’ll plan on having you back Saturday night then. Go sit around and do nothing.”
Like I said, he was cool.
