Brief Author Bio: My profession is making sandwiches and smoothies and other odds 'n' ends for high school boarding and day students. My passions may include (but are not limited to) drumming complicated rhythms on any available surface when I don't think anyone is looking; somehow making beautiful music come out of a hunk of grenadilla and a handmade piece of buzzing cane; taking pictures and then Photoshopping them to make them look pretty; acquiring ever more compact discs and vinyl albums from any musician that intrigues me from Bach to Mahler to My Morning Jacket to Tom Waits; and being a true skeptic with an inquiring and curious mind. |

Synopsis: The Epic of Sophie (and Eva and Alex)
An unlikely trio of high schoolers struggle with the usual adolescent hurdles, such as college, social structures, sexual identity, alcoholism, and the occasional alien abduction.
