Synopsis: Beyond World's End
Where were you when the world ended? When existence uncoupled itself, the laws of physics took a vacation, and strange things began to leak in as the threads of reality unwove? I was on the road, running away from a life that had suddenly fallen apart, running towards an uncertain future that seemed further away with every mile dropping behind my wheels - and then everything went crazy. The old man at the abandoned gas station told me the Bomb dropped twenty years ago, and wiped out all of civilization in a burst of cleansing nuclear flame. Then he tried to eat me. The girl on the road told me it was 1973, and she was just trying to get to her grandmother before she died - but one of us was obviously out of time, or both of us were. I'm adrift on the endless sea of quantum foam, where suddenly anything is real - or nothing is.
