Synopsis: Don't Ask Me Why

When Nelson Statler threatens to disown his daughter, Alyssa, for getting pregnant during her junior year of high school, Alyssa takes desperate measures. She forces her best friend to marry her -- at a terrible price. She accepts, thinking that she will never be called upon to uphold her end of the bargain. But the time comes, and much sooner than she anticipated. She must decide to keep her promise: to end a life, or to break and ruin a friendship by saving it.
