Anyone else out there from the Chatsworth, Dalton, Calhoun, etc. areas? I see that there are very few regional groups for Georgia so I'm curious to see who is in my area. :-)

I live in Jasper, which I suppose isn't that far from Calhoun via Hwy 53. I'm a member of a very small writer's group that meets in Cumming, which is a bit of a drive for me. This is my first time doing nanowrimo.

I am in Ellijay. Maybe we can scrounge up a local group.I have never participated in a writers group, mainly because I am a non-fiction writer. However, I do realize I can write like a fiction writer, even though my writing is true...
This is my first time with nanowrimo, too. I learned about it from my son in Portland OR. He is participating as well.

I am in Ellijay and it looks like the Northwest Georgia area is not well represented. Since we appear to not be a large group, I would be glad to host a gathering at my home. This is my first time with Nanowrimo and I am excited about it!

(You might get a spam reply but, I still receive your mail) As you all know, sometimes you cant even get on the nanowrimo site. I am free anytime except not on Wednesdays at all or Sunday mornings. Monday night would be good as my husband is usually not here. But, a weekend night is fine too.
