Great. A home just for us Islanders. So, what is everyone writing about? I'm writing a western. I've always wanted to try and write a western. I saw the remake of 3:10 To Yuma with Russell Crowe and decided I wanted to give this genre a try. I usually write stories with a supernatural element. I'm a big fan of Stephen King. But this time around I wanted to try something a little more normal. Although, I think one of my story elements might be a little supernatural. Oh, well. I still think it's going to be an interesting experience and i can't wait to get started.

I'm not sure what I'll be writing. I'll probably just do what I did last year and take an idea form an unfinished novel and start it over from scratch.

Hello everyone. Wow our own region on the forums. How exciting! Last year I wrote a supernatural comedy. This year I think I'll try a mystery comedy. I think it's impossible for me not to write something funny. At least I hope its funny. God, what if it isn't funny? I guess I should save the panicking for when I've actually started writing. :0)
My husband and I both did this for the first time last year. He is currently working out West but still plans to take part.
Are we having a kick off event or anything?

So far it looks like there are only four of us signed up in PEI this year. Attendance at last year's kick off was scarce(2 people) so I haven't tried to organize one yet, hoping a few more people would sign up. If people are interested in having one though we can try and get together some time. If anyone has any suggestions let me know. I have the awesome power of mass-email and can get the word out to all the PEI wrimos.
