Kevin J. Anderson's FAQ
Kevin has more than one blog, but the ones he wrote during the writing of the Dune novels are a lengthy and intimate look into the day-to-day life of a prolific author. Visit the Dune Novels Blogs at the home link or go directly to my favorite day, which is about how Kevin deals with holidays, in this case Thanksgiving.

Here's a good one. If you ever feel stuck and need ideas, use one of the features here to get some inspiration (and maybe a good laugh)

Because it became glaringly obvious at the kickoff party that we all need some help with names (some of us *raises hand* are beyond help....), I'm posting a few of what I've been using.
Behind the Name (This one is my Bible of names. This and my baby name book. It has the etymologies of first names and you can search them for meanings. Like fire meanings (hint, hint, wink, wink.). Very useful. I'm addicted, sadly.)
Worldbuilding Questions (I haven't used this one much, but what questions I've looked at have helped me. This is obviously mostly geared toward fantasy, but still. Useful stuff.)
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaand that's all I have. I'm off to expand on my grand total of 20 words.
