Just to let you know, the regions currently signed up for the Word War are Cambridge, Darlington and Manchester. We're still waiting for replies from the other regions. Even last year's champions seem to be running scared...

Hi again,
Transcriber: A Word War is when people try to out do each other on the number of words they can write over the course of Nanowrimo.
A regional Word War, like this one, is where people from each region team up and try to out do all the other regions by writing more words than them.
The winning region is the one with the highest average word count at the end of the month, or the region with the highest proportion of participants who win! (ie get 50k+). Clear as mud? :-)
If you're interested in taking part please see the Rules thread first. You have until 8pm on the 10th.
