Okay, now for the second part of our writing exercise, Magna Carta II!
Now we need to make a list of all the things we hate in a novel.
My list:
- graphic and explicit sex scenes
- long essays describing social injustices (yes I'm looking at you Victor Hugo!)
- pages and pages of intricate and detailed description (that's you Tolkien!)
- bad guys that have no reason behind what they're doing
- stories that don't really come to a conclusion
