Hey all! Sorry for being a major no show on the forums here. I get every post made in this forum emailed to me though, and trust me, I'm trying to get here to post. Unfortunately the site is a bit slow yet and drupal's never been fast-friendly. (argh). With that said though, I have official events on the Calendar now (some are still incoming). I'm hoping to see a huge turn out this year.
I also did an interview with the Northern Life a few days ago so I expect we'll see something there! That'll bring in some folk, I'm sure.
Even if you have no intention of showing up through the month, try to attend the Kick Off and TGIO parties. This gives your Municipal Liaison a chance to associate faces with names, and gives them a chance to hand out goodies (stickers anyone? If they arrive in time)...also, it gives the ML a chance to know how many people are in the area.
In the last two years we've gone from two people to 20 people (four regulars!), and this year? We can only go up!
