Go us Assies and Kiwis!

As of now, I have like 546!

Nyaaaaaaaa! Time to scream. Starting the writing and screaming complete. Continuing writing and screaming.... continuing.
I. shall. write!

I'm starting slowly... most of my starting today will be thinking dreamy novelly thoughts... I will hopefully follow that up with manic novelly typing in the next day or two.
I live in hope.

FInally! It was beginning to feel like it was always one day away! So far I have 1,514 words; everything I've been itching to write all week is pouring out of my fingers. Yay! Good luck, everyone!

1am up here in Darwin and I'm at 1,432. Should probably go to bed soon but all I want to do is write!
Could anything be more addictive than this? I think not!

Well, I was so impatient to write these scenes that have been sitting in my head for the past few weeks that I churned out 5126 words before my brain demanded I go to sleep. Good luck, everyone!

Nearly 2,000 so far today, but tomorrow's going to be a shocker, schedule-wise, so I need to get a head-start on tomorrow's quota. The prose is not deathless, but it's coming out better than I had feared!
Best wishes for your rat, Jeff....

876 words typed and a couple of pages handwritten. I got well bogged down with not being able to start strongly. Weak little limp lead in! I hate you! But that was the hand written stuff. When I started typing up, I start about a half a scene earlier and whilst it's not great, it's passable and gave me some extra words.
----------Still not into the whole "Just sit and type" thing. Might get up and wander about. Can't fail on day one though :/
If you are reading this it means I am posting instead of writing. Feel free to punish me.

How did you guys get your word counts up? I don't have the option to do that yet even though my Home Region is in Australia/Nth Queensland.
Anyway, yes, we're mostly a day ahead of everyone else although you guys have daylight savings so you're ahead of us by an hour :-)
First Day .. hmmm .. My current wordcount is:
3652 and still writing. I keep taking small breaks to do something else every hour or so. I only work mornings so the afternoons are always free for writing.

You go to edit your profile and under Author Info, you should find a Word Count section to fill in. :)

Thanks muchly Jade. Apparently, I had the darn timer setting to US time rather than Australian which was why the option never appeared in my profile. Yep, I'm losing my marbles.
Good Luck Everyone!

I'm nearly at 19K, but haven't written today due to a need to study for my HSC Drama exam tomorrow afternoon. Besides which I've been writing every day, even when I haven't much felt like it - I think I deserve a bit of a break. As soon as I get home tomorrow afternoon, I'm going to get stuck back in.
