For the last week, can we have it in the Anyang/Bumgye area? :D It would make it nice and equal!

What, no love for those of us who aren't Seoul-ites? Tsk, tsk. =P

Really, though, not expecting anything to show up outside of there, so no point beating a horse that never lived anyway. I'm pretty much cool with any place, though I'll likely only show up for one of the meetings (that KTX sure is expensive, especially on a student budget >_>).

There are many Nano'ers scattered around the peninsula. I'm sure if someone organized a write-in/meet-up in Busan or Daejon, there will be people to attend.

Yes, yes I should, but an annoying mosquito had other plans for me tonight.

*raises hand* I'll be there, but I won't bring a laptop...I need to get some outlining and character planning done, but I can't do those on a keyboard.

hey all,

I'm Kathryn. I'll try and attend on Sunday, depends on whether or not I've given up by then!

Good luck all!

I'll be there if we have a location in Gangnam?

Still working on the location in Bundang for the 11th - will find a backup place if we can't use the computer lab we discussed at the kickoff.

I didn't say where exactly yet. I'm thinking the 2nd floor of Paris Baguette (exit 7). It's nice, bright and quiet. If not there, maybe Pascucci (exit 6)?

Not that Seoul is THAT far from me, but any NaNo people in the Incheon area?

Paris Baguette sounds good to me. I'll check again before tomorrow to make sure of the location but count me in.

Let's meet at the Paris Baguette (second floor) down the street a bit from Gangnam exit 7. If we don't like it, we can trek somewhere else.

I'll get there around 1pm.

I can't imagine trying to write in public with Koreans around me. I have a hard enough time when it's quiet. You guys go ahead though! :P

We had the first one today, but it was only a couple of us. I was a little disappointed in the turn-out, but it was still a good time.

Cheers so much for organising it, thanks to that session I'm well on my way.

This weekend is slated for Bundang. We have three choices; a computer lab on an English town-type campus which is about a 3500W cab fare from Seohyeon Station (potluck lunch if anyone is interested), a Pascucci or a Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf - both of which are more or less at Seohyeon Station (Samsung Plaza for those who know the area).

Please let me know if you want to use the computer lab as I will need to let several authority-type figures know how many people wish to rock up. Otherwise both coffee shops have powerpoints we should be able to use if people are bringing laptops.

ML (aristotle91), hope this is OK to have posted but with limited time I wanted to get the invitation out there. Just let me know if it's jumping on toes.

I'd like to use the computer lab since I don't have a laptop, but I'm fine using pen-n-paper if others would like to stay closer to the station.

:D I second Chris's suggestion. I'm between laptops at the moment, and even though I'd probably spend more time with my notepad than a computer, the option to have one to use is a very nice one!

Whoever is coming out to Bundang on Sunday please confirm by Friday morning as I need to give a number to the higher-ups before they go for the weekend. Once I know how many are coming up I will either post directions or organise to meet everyone in town and get taxis sorted.

Sweet as. Hopefully all of you will make it! I will meet you in town to get taxis together - not difficult.

Next - directions:

BY TRAIN:
Get the orange line to Dogok or Suseo, change to the yellow line. Get off at Seohyeon. Take the escalator towards exit two, then do a 180 and take the escalator up one more flight. You'll come out in the middle of the Samsung Plaza shopping mall. Turn right and walk towards the doors (Body Shop will be on your left). Exit and Krispy Kreme is on your left. I'll be waiting there.

BY BUS:
Take the 9000 or 9001 (there are others but those are the two I always take) from Hannam-dong (opposite Donkook University, going down the hill) and get off at the first stop (Samsung Plaza). When you get off the bus, turn left and start walking. You will cross one set of lights. Keep walking. You will see an outdoor plaza on your right. Walk down the plaza, cross the road into the second stretch of the plaza, and just before you hit the indoor bit of Samsung Plaza you'll see a Krispy Kreme shop on your right. I'll be waiting there.

I'll be there a little before 1pm and will wait there until about 1:20pm. If you are lost, I'm really sorry but I don't have a cell phone. Might be a case of winging it (or ringing Chris?). Please also remember we have a coffee machine and a softdrink machine but nothing else; if you need refreshments please bring them with you - you can also buy all sorts of stuff at Samsung Plaza. If you weren't at the meetup and don't know what I look like, look for the short girl in the blue and rainbow stripey scarf (yes, I will be wearing other clothes but they're nondescript in comparison to the scarf!) .

We will take taxis from there.

Looking forward to seeing you!

Or better yet, can you text me your number? 010-8877-6742

thanks!
