I feel a bit the fool for missing Monday so I will be at Bean Traders at Homestead Shopping Center on Saturday no later than 2 pm. I'll be the tall big guy in jeans & a red t-shirt that says ACHEWOOD in baseball team script. Homestead is at Fayetteville Rd & NC 54, near Southpoint.

Sounds like a good plan! Though in the future I do hope to find some conveniently located cafes with better seating...

Thanks to Robust_McManly Pants for posting this write-in. I got about 1,300 words or so written in the hour+ I was there. It was nice to meet Botrytis, as well. We share the same first name (Sarah, although Botrytis prefers "Lou"). This was the first write-in I've ever attended. Last year I only made it to the kick-off party. This year I missed the kick-off, but made it to a write-in.

Hope the words are coming easily to everyone. I told Botrytis that my story changes each time I sit down to write. So it's definitely NOT a novel, but a tool to find my creativity.

Sarah / sarwolf

Thanks for coming out! Sorry I wasn't more talkative - I tend to be a headphones-in-and-write sort of NaNoer. It was good to see folks, though, and I got a whole lot of words written in the five hours or so I was there. Woot!

Yea, thanks to all of you for showing up (definitely improvement over the last few write-ins I've tried to schedule.) It was great to get to know everyone! I hope a few people will be able to make it to the write-in at Francesca's on Monday night!

Also, if anyone has any better suggestions for write-in locations in Durham please let me know, Something in the South-point area would be convenient for most people, but I found the tables there small and difficult to work on (I could barely fit my boyfriend's dinosaur laptop and a cup of coffee on mine) It'd be great to find a place where we could all sit around together rather than each splitting off to our own tables.
