Hiya. My writing group, Word Pirates (in Petaluma), are doing NaNoWriMo this month too. Five of our members are doing it in some form or another (we sort of took licenses with it, although I'm working on a novel and so are a couple of other members). Are any other local writing groups doing it too? Just curious.
Anyway, I just wanted to say hi, and mention that we're looking for a new member if anyone is interested in checking us out after NaNoWriMo is over. We meet twice a month, the first and third Thursday of each month, at my house in Petaluma. We're looking for people who are professional writers or are serious about publishing. Hi Joy,
Nice to hear from another Petaluma writer. I'm in a critique group now that meets twice a month, and two of us are doing NaNoWriMo this year. I just finished an eight week writer's workshop, and several of those folks are doing NaNoWriMo this year, as well.
