Did anyone count how many folks were there? We almost filled up half of Lulu's, and I know there were still more Fairbanks folks who didn't make it.
I just have to say we have a great group of people this year!
Catie Murphy was a real pleasure to have as a special guest and gave us all some very specific information about writing, writers and the writing business.
We gave away the two prizes for the first 10,000 words and I wish I'd had more to give everyone who hit that mark, you all deserved presents!
About half of us stuck around for another half an hour or so. I managed to get 1000 words written during that time and still played a few fiddle tunes, as well.
I hope the meeting was as much fun for you as it was for me!
