Was great to talk with everyone today, it was a real friendly day and the words kept on coming. I got nearly 5000 words done in four 45 minute sessions.

Aye! I'm glad I turned up in the end. Although I didn't get much written in the way of continuous prose, this afternoon turned out to be quite productive. In the end I just wrote whatever instantly entered my head (there is a name for this style of writing, but I can't pin it down right now). Surprisingly the exercise yielded some rather interesting ideas.
I'm quite keen to turn up again next Sunday, even if I end up doing the same thing again. I can't bring my laptop as it's in pretty shit shape, so I have little choice; but everyone was cool, and I had a good time so I'm definitely game for next week's write-in.

It was great to see some new faces (yes, yes, I know, if I'd managed to make it last week I probably would have seen you all then too) and some old (in terms of NaNo I mean!).Got a phenomenal amount of words done as I knew I would which as brought me not far from target. Hope to see you all again next week!
PS OddButInteresting, the phrase you are looking for is stream-of-consciousness.

I was well behind and totally stalled, but as usual the write-in got me kick-started...
I had a 6000-word day yesterday, so I'm back in the game!

How extensive were today's power cuts? I've been a bit under the weather and the lack of power has left me fuming.
I also need to push myself to keep up with word count, and I'll look forward to the coming Sunday Write-in again.

I really enjoyed Sunday's write-in. I found it helped to be surrounded by people who were doing the same thing as me. Plus I liked the breaks where I got to speak to fellow NaNoers. I came out of it really buzzing about what I had got done. Next time I will make sure that I eat before I turn up that way I won't have to leave early.

It's now official, folks: I've quit NaNo!
However, I do hope to turn up to the remaining write-ins (with one of my WIPs) as I found the atmosphere greatly inspiring - assuming that's OK with everyone else? I could definitely use the opportunity to knuckle down on my main projects.
