Valley Write-ins

I am shocked - shocked I tell you! - to discover that I have not yet started on threads about the Mat-Su Valley write-ins! This, I fear, is an oversight that must be corrected.

Our write-ins so far, if I do say so myself, have been awesomely cool. We logged 27k between five-six writers from our word wars the first write-in, and if I recall correctly we managed over 30k this last Saturday. Nothing has been better for my wordcount then our Saturday get-togethers, to the degree that it takes all Sunday for my fingers to recover. :)

We meet at 10 A.M. on Saturday at Teeland's in Wasilla, and generally we stay until 7 or 8 at night. Teeland's is in the Herning's building behind Meta Rose Square/The Clock Tower, kittycorner from the Library, in Wasilla. The food is excellent and the prices fair, and the hosts are amazing for putting up with us and our strange, writer-ly ways. :D There are plug ins for laptops, and wireless. If you come, beware - we word war on the hour for a half hour.

I will have photos from our write-ins so far, when and if my computer behaves. *gives computer a smile that promises much pain*
