Hey everyone. I'm pretty pleased with myself, I rolled over that 25k mark yesterday! I have never written anything that was 25000 words long, let alone write it in 13 days! I just hope I can keep going at this pace! Today was the first day I'm not going meet my writing goal. Partly out of celebration and partly from sheer exhaustion. How is everyone else doing?

congrats... I hit 26k today... I had a great burst of inspiration on Sat night and wrote almost nonstop (while awake) on Sunday and Monday, even at work, but I hit a HUGE wall today... somebody needs to piss me off so I can get inspired again.... hopefully it will happen. Oh well.... I am going to go to bed and hope inspiration hits me again. I want to do 34K by Tuesday night, and since I have all day off Tues I plan on writing all day and blowing through a huge amount of my novel, I just home inspiration and my Muse come back to visit

I'm so behind! I've been bouncing in and out of the hospital and that's screwing me up. But I've put in some new nanoing music, and I'm playing around with my outline via index cards. Hopefully that'll shake things up a bit. My goal is 4k a day until I'm caught up, and then not falling behind again. (With the exception of Thanksgiving vacation.)
Good job on your word count, guys!

Congratulations!
I started over with a new plot, so I am farther behind that I hoped to be by this time. But I finally broke the 10k mark, so that gives me hope.
Good luck, but at the rate you're going, you won't need it! Congrats again!

Looks like you are moving on your new plot... congrats... and everyone else... don't worry it will happen. I am planning on tues (before thanksgiving) spending all day writing at a coffee shop, if anyone wants to join me for a write in, I am thinking of going to ReJuvenate (or ever how you spell it)
I have nothing to do that day until the evening so I am going to write NON STOP all day. Last two times I went there I was only there for a few hours and I got over 3 or 4K each time. So I figure if I do it again for at least 5 hours I might break 10K that day.... I can't write much this weekend bc I will be in Phx visiting my family so no time to write.
I wish all of us good luck

It's the middle of the month and I've written 27,392 words. That's right on track for finishing NaNo, but it's clear to me that this manuscript is going to run 80,000~90,000 words. I'll get as much done as I can by 11/30. My ultimate goal now is to have it drafted, revised, and re-revised in time for the Pikes Peak Writers Conference in Colorado Springs in April. Anyone else planning on attending? Maybe we can car pool it.

At the rate I'm going, I'll be happy finishing this month with, um, 10,000 words :) It's been a crazy month, with starting to plan for the wedding and looking for a job, as well as working on the seventeen books that have come across my desk for publishing... yeah. Bad month for me to sit down and write 50,000 words :( But it's OK. I had a feeling I wouldn't make it this year... and it's not like I"m NOT writing. I am, just not as fast as I would like to be.
