Hello Bluenosers! I just passed the halfway mark this afternoon, and I'm pretty proud of myself. I was behind on the weekend, and now I'm ahead by a day. Thank goodness for holidays. How is everyone else doing?
Is anyone really pleased with the content of their novel? I don't think mine is something anyone else will want to read, but I really enjoy thinking about the characters myself. It might be boring, but I like it anyway. How are the rest of you feeling about your work?

My plot is *gasp* moving!!
I'm past the half-way point as well... just haven't updated. Some days my wordcount is piddly, other days it's all right, some days, it's zero.... it's a weird NaNo for me!!
Trying to go for 30k tonight!!!

Whoo, halfway! :D
My character finally got his voice. Yaaaay.
I have class tomorrow, so I can't stay up all night and write.... but the plot is moving. OMG.

Well, it's the 15th which makes it halfway through November, does that count??? If it does, then I can indeed state that yes I am halfway.

I'm a little past halfway, and glad to be moving along. For some reason, I had a tough first week with my NaNo, and it has been getting steadily better since then. I have been improvising more and I like how my characters are surprising me. So, I guess I am somewhat pleased.

Thanks to being a student I spent two days ignoring NaNo completely. As of this morning I was almost 7000 words behind. Now I'm up to 3500, but it will be back up to 5000+ now that we've passed midnight. *SIGH*
I should just write like hell and get ahead and forget about it. But I'm sooo lazy.
The good thing is, my plot is starting to move, too! Why does it take 2000+ words before things start to really happen? Are published novels like that, too? The first 2000 are establishing the situation?
It's late and I'm procrastinating. Excuse me.

You took 2,000?
I took 20,000 before my plot actually caught on.
I also spent two full days ignoring NaNo. Then I got back on track, thanks to Tsuki-chan and Rostand, who kindly oblige me with word wars on MSN. It's sort of rocking.

That's 'cause we're really sort of rocking. *throws up the horns*
Yeah, I hope I can do the same thing . . . I hate you so bad, Papers. I hate you.
