I know, it may be considered as spam but..
I think being half way is such a great achievement, so post here once you have achieved it, and congratulate the others. Its a great feeling by itself, but being congratulated makes it all the sweeter.
So here I go.
I'M HALF WAY!
Wooo!

Well done!

I got to 25k two days ago. That's slow compared to last year.

I hit 25k on the 11th, but I wanted to steal a march so I could accommodate some social engagements.

This has been my most consistent NaNo so far, reached halfway on the eleventh. It's 30k that's the true halfway point, though ;)

I've just this minute got there. I think that makes me about one hour fifty minutes ahead of schedule.

Of course, as soon as I go to sleep tonight, I'll technically be behind again...

Congratulations to everyone else who's also hit the magic 25k!

Oh I am so happy! Just reached the big 25,000 and I'm feeling like a writing god! (Even if I have no idea how I'm going to pull together all my various plot threads)

Congratulations to everyone else on reaching half way. ^.^

I have a plot twist just around the corner and I am looking forward to writing it, wel, technically, I have already got to the point where I have the plot twist, and Stephen fallen into the clutches of the bad guy, but I haven't written what happens next. But that still counts. Right?

I'm there, a day behind schedule. The story finally has pirates in it, no zombies yet though.

*engages in congratulatory mutual back-slapping and high-fiving with everyone else who's reached the halfway mark*

I have at last passed the half way mark. I didn't write a word yesterday so I am now almost two days behind.

Phew. It's really hard work getting through the awful gap between 20 and 30k. But being halfway makes me feel much better. If only my story could get itself together as well.
